The Future is Creative- Let’s shape it together!
In the afternoon of 4th May 2024, we celebrated our inauguration at the Haus der Universität in Düsseldorf. Under the patronage of Duesseldorf’s mayor Josef Hinkel and with the generous support of the van Meeteren Stiftung, we came together under the motto: “The future is creative. Let’s shape it together!”
As the patron of the event, Duesseldorf’s mayor Josef Hinkel greeted the audience.
Northrhine-Westfalia’s former CIO Prof. Dr. Andreas Meyer-Falcke addressed the audience and highlighted the urgency of digital awareness and strengthening the human in the digital age.
Iliana Grosse-Buening and Ellina Perlin introduced the project “Future meets YOU” and their experience with the students at the Albert Einstein Gymnasium in Duesseldorf.
The speeches were interspersed with musical performances by Iliana Grosse-Buening and Ellina Perlin as well as Piano Duo Isabel Agadzanov & David Dehpour (Musikschule Subito).
Philosopher and AI Ethicist Dr. Benjamin Lange spoke about the importance of values. Responsible Technology Hub’s Co-Founder Yasmin Al-Douri spoke about the importance of involving the next generation in the dialogue on future skills.
The event was followed by a mixer and cocktail sponsored by Isabella Glutenfreie Patisserie and Jacques Weindepot.
