A roadmap to the future…

In a digital world that is increasingly complex, we need new skills to thrive as individuals and communities. To serve as a starting point to our work, we have been inspired by McKinsey and Company’s 2020 report on The Skills for Future Citizens to create a roadmap of how we will contribute to promoting these skills through our activities.

Self-Leadership

In an increasingly complex and dynamic global landscape, self-leadership skills will be crucial for both personal and professional success. Individuals will need to be proficient in self-motivation, self-awareness, and self-regulation, enabling them to independently manage their goals, adapt to changing environments, and make informed decisions. Together, these skills form a comprehensive toolkit to navigate and succeed in the increasingly complex and tech-saturated future.

Cognitive

Cognitive skills, encompassing critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities, will empower individuals to process and interpret complex information, enabling them to make strategic decisions and innovative solutions. This cognitive agility will be fundamental in a world where information is abundant and constantly evolving.

Interpersonal

Interpersonal skills, including emotional intelligence, communication, and empathy, will be vital in building and maintaining strong relationships in diverse environments. These skills enhance collaboration, conflict resolution, and the ability to work effectively in teams, which are crucial in a globally connected and culturally diverse world.

Digital

Digital skills will be indispensable in an increasingly tech-saturated landscape. Proficiency in using digital tools, understanding cybersecurity, and navigating digital platforms responsibly will be critical. Equally important will be finding a balance between technology use and personal well-being, ensuring that digital advancements enhance rather than hinder human connections.
